Community Outreach to People with Disabilities

| These organizations are participating in our exclusive Community Outreach program. Through this program, groups and organizations that directly work with People with Disabilities receive open job notifications on a daily basis that match the criteria they specifically requested. These daily notifications (known as JobCasts™) can be customized by location, profession, education and experience. |
disAbility Resource Center The Knoxville disABILITY Resource Center (DRC) is a not-for-profit organization run for and BY people with disabilities. The DRC is a Center for Independent Living (CIL). We are a community-based non-residential program of services designed to assist people with disabilities to gain independence and to assist the community in eliminating barriers to independence.

Division of Services for the Blind - Arkansas The Arkansas Division of Services for the Blind is dedicated to the independence of Arkansans who are blind or visually impaired and is committed to the principle that these individuals have the right to make informed choices regarding where they live, where they work, how they participate in the community, and how they interact with others. |

Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired The DARS Division for Blind Services (DBS) assists blind or visually impaired individuals and their families. Depending upon their goals and needs, DBS offers services to help regain independence or find a job. |

Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired - Region II Tennessee Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired provides specialized services to persons who have dual sensory impairments. A Deaf Blind Specialist in the Central Office provides technical assistance to field staff on how to best serve this population. The Specialist is also involved in advocacy activities on behalf of persons who are deaf/blind and plays an important role in educating the public about the specialized needs and abilities of persons who are deaf/blind. |
