Production Specialist (Ripley)

Job Description
Operates various pieces of equipment in the manufacturing area as required to produce quality greeting cards. Makes necessary visual quality checks as specified by procedure, and other special checks as assigned. Must be alert and quality conscious at all times and strive to produce the best quality product possible.
Feeds and catches on the various types of production equipment in the department. May start and stop machines to clear minor jams, change rolls of film, leaf, ribbon, labels, etc. Must perform all functions in a safe manner.
The production specialist serve as a team member which will be responsible for providing materials for the machinery and helps to move the product through the required processes.
Will be required to use various material handling equipment in the course of their job duties.
Must work together in team cells and collaborate for results. Maintains a high level of order and housekeeping to help ensure a safe work environment.
