Position Summary Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Medical Surgical Orthopaedics

Reports to: Director Med/Surg Orthopedics

Minimum Education
Associate's degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing - Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required to be current upon hire

ACLS and PALS certifications - Required within 6 months of hire
