Description

Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for an AVP, Enterprise Architecture and Project Governance - Hybrid. The Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Project Management leads the team in the development of technical architecture and project management strategy and implementation , including evaluating new technologies, applications, and services; determining integration options for technologies; conducting strategic planning for technologies in use within Lifepoint Health's enterprise environment. In addition, this role leads the development and maintenance of ITS project management office function including developing standards and tools, as well as leadership for execution of key projects. Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and leaders from across the organization to understand how technology can support clinical and financial business objectives and in executing IT projects to meet those objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily

  • Provide leadership and direction to the architects and project managers within team, and coordinate with thoseexternal to the team to ensure alignment.
  • Interact with business leadership and staff to understand and document business objectives and requirements, develop roadmaps for enterprise technology solutions, assist in the development of business cases to support justification of these solutions, and lead the development of detailed plans for execution.
  • Develop and lead the adoption across ITS of a common set of project management processes, methodologies and tools.
  • Lead the implementation of new facilities and manage the technical side of the Cerner rollout to these post acute facilities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Cerner team to provide a seamless implementation process for new starts and existing facilities moving to Cerner.
  • Personally - and through subordinate architects and project managers - oversee and lead the design and documentation of new and upgraded solutions and provide the guidance necessary to assure new solutions exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintenance, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Ensure execution of projects according to plan and budget.
  • Continually review the broad range of technologies and applications within Lifepoint's environment and maintain a roadmap of those technology lifecycles.
  • Develop the framework, standards and process flows to strengthen architectural and project management practices that ensure alignment with business objectives and provide leadership and direction to solution development and delivery teams regarding these standards and processes.
  • Coordinate these activities with affiliated organizations such as 25m Health and ScionHealth.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills
and/or abilities required.
Education: bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience: 10+ years in a complex IT organization. Proven ability to manage n ITS project management office
from standards to implementation.

Certifications: PMP or other Project Management certification.

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air
