Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

The Manager, Liquidation Initiatives and Analytics supports the Global Liquidation team for Asurion. They will have primary responsibility in delivering financial performance, conducting insightful analytics, and creating and/or facilitating related initiatives. They will work with key stakeholders across Supply Chain to ensure Asurion is maximizing liquidation opportunity. They will also own the sourcing of fair market value data to be used across our supply chains. The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with directive input is essential to this position. The candidate will be self-sufficient and able to lead through influence while balancing the asks of delivering results in the short term while meeting our strategic long-term business plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns measuring, monitoring, and reporting out on all liquidation financial targets
  • Works directly with finance and channel management partners to develop forecasts and models of liquidation market impacts on supply chain and company processes and profitability
  • Routinely provide SCM Senior leadership with updates on liquidation financial performance and future expectation
  • Conducts advanced analysis to assist decision making and identify areas for improvement
  • Creates, runs, and implements all liquidation related initiatives
  • Supports global business units to develop and implement new products and features
  • Developing a liquidation road map via creation/implementation of a next best use engine
  • Deliver against KPIs and perform optimization of disposition methods
  • Consults with global business units to improve performance and maximize revenue
  • Challenge status quo and proactively drive for profitability optimization by establishing creative outside the box solutions
  • Lead internal and external discussions on key initiatives and/or liquidation strategy involving holding internal stakeholders accountable and navigating ambiguous scenarios
  • Establish and sustain strong customer relationship management through effective communication and support for all internal customers
  • Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships with external suppliers.
  • Gains understanding of each supplier's internal supply chain processes and uses this information to benefit the overall Asurion supply chain
  • Serve as industry expert in functional area of responsibility and maintain market intelligence
  • Owns the development and maintenance of Procurement pricing engine including sourcing, consolidating, and maintaining data for the purchase and disposition of all parts and devices
  • Source data used to create "Fair Market Value" dashboard
  • Develop business plans based on AOP initiatives
  • Lead analyst who provides analytical support for both LCM liquidation and Trade-In/Upgrade

  • BA/BS Degree preferred + 5 years of experience
