ABOUT TRILLIUM:Trillium specializes in helping customers using vacuum systems and related products in a wide range of industries. We offer new and refurbished products, as well as repair services supporting dry pumps, oil-sealed pumps, blowers, cryogenic pumps, cold heads, helium compressors, chillers and gas abatement systems.

SUMMARY:Assemble, test, troubleshoot, diagnose and fix pump control for electrical assemblies and components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Setup and test vacuum pump frame electrical assemblies and components for proper functionality
  • Trouble shoot and diagnose failures of components during test and replace as necessary
  • Make cable and wire harness assemblies
  • Repair, assemble and test pump ancillary sub systems
  • Reading, understanding of electrical schematics
  • Cable and wire harness assembly
  • Testing & Repairing Printed Circuit Assemblies.
  • Soldering Surface Mount & Through Hole components
  • Working with Static Sensitive components

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Able to read and understand basic electrical diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components
  • Awareness of proper use and handling of electrical test equipment
  • Computer skills (excel, word, and intranet)
  • Strong time management, organization skills, and enthusiasm required
  • Effective listening and communication skills required
  • Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Must be team oriented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 +years related experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents
  • Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence

WORK ENVIRONMENTwork is performed in a variety of industrial settings some of which

may include exposure to load noises, fumes, and heavy equipment.

SALARY:$22.00 - $25.00
