Working as part of the Procurement & Logistics team in the Electrification Installation Products in Byhalia, Mississippi, this role involves gathering and interpreting data related to cost, quality and demand patterns. This position is responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets related to inventory levels and supply chain performance. The role will work closely with the Director of Inventory to focus on key customer activities, optimise inventory levels, and improve customer satisfaction.

• Data Analysis: Gathers and interprets relevant data (cost, quality, demand patterns, etc.) and provides analytical support e.g. site inventory and material stock out analysis and trends, material availability reports
• Reporting: Develops and communicates periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
• Problem-solving: Investigates problems, finds root causes and recommends improvement to existing and planned SCM processes
• Process Improvement: Leads/supports process improvement teams
• System Support: Provides SAP/BAAN MRP support to buyers, e.g. training documents, coaching
• Purchasing Process: Coordinates daily material issues and communication - alignment between production stock outs versus SAP stock outs
• Material Availability: Analyzes inventory trends, reports findings. Supports ABCD part analysis
• Raw Material Inventory: Reviews material plans (planned orders) against actual

• Bachelor degree plus 2 years work experience OR Associate degree plus 4 years work experience OR diploma/GED plus 6 years work experience; bachelor in Business Administration preferred
• Minimum 3 years inventory/materials/operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility
• APICS Certification a plus
• Must be analytical and well organized
• Must be a good communicator with the ability to motivate others towards a common set of objectives
• Strong working knowledge of SAP preferred
