Position Summary:


The Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians. Prepares the examination room for the patient and takes patient vital signs and records vitals in medical chart. Performs basic in office test and performs EKG's. Adminsiters children and adult vaccines. This position also maintains and updates patient's medical history. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Certified Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited teaching establishment required
  • 1 to 2 years of related work experience is preferred
  • If not currently certified, must obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment
