We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Scheduler/Planner in Supply Chain for our site in Charleston, TN.

What you will do:

This position is responsible for scheduling the Charleston production based on planning parameters. The Scheduler/Planner monitors and maintains quantity requirements and product mix; schedules material flows of Silicon Metal and/or Silanes, product changes, specifications, documentation, and labels; acts as a key user in SAP, MES, navigators, rolling forecasts, etc; assumes responsibility for inventories, material flows, material balancing, and month end closing; and collaborates and maintains close alignment with the control center in Germany, while working interdepartmentally and cross-functionally in a global matrixed environment.

  • Perceive safety as a precondition and behave as a role model. Scheduling the systems and equipment according to Polysilicon planning requirements to meet forecasted quantities. Create process orders based on production capacity. Coordinate monthly scheduling for polysilicon / chlorosilanes.
  • Responsibility for maintaining and updating inventory of all silanes and polysilicon products (incl. Si Metal), daily SAP booking, and adjustments to meet inventory levels (Ex.: Si Metal as well as other material flows). Monthly chlorosilanes balancing incl. HDK as well as month end closing. Scheduling of all Si Metal deliveries, cooperating with suppliers and production teams. Participates in annual plant wide physical inventory audit.
  • Creating and reviewing monthly financial reports as well as all KPI reporting. Example: Daily rolling forecasts and Navigators to be checked and updated on a daily basis). Key user for SAP and MES application as well other Supply Chain relevant systems and/or applications. Ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate and monitor all products manufactured and released by production to the shipping warehouse, while adhering to delivery dates, quantities, package specifications, and quality data. Follow-up with all material currently held for shipment by driving MRB/ batch hold decisions to achieve timely release.
  • Analysis of deviations in process orders in cooperation with production. Central contact person with respect to changes in products, specifications, documentation, and labels. Other ad hoc reporting and duties as requested. Act as deputy to the Planner/ Scheduler counterpart, filling in as necessary.

What we need from you:

  • Associates degree in a technical field; Bachelor's degree preferred in a business field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain, 2+ years in a planning / scheduling capacity
  • Excellent with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP (SAP & MES desired); working knowledge of cost accounting and reporting.
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, Self-Starter/ Self-Motivator: Do what it takes to get the job done
  • High level of detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
  • Familiarity with/ experience with Logistics- Domestic and/ or International is preferred
  • Familiarity with/ experience with Continuous Improvement Methodologies is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to work in a global matrix environment
