Job Title: Insurance Verifier

General Summary of Duties:

The Verifier will possess excellent written and verbal skills and be in communications with physicians offices and patients. Responsibilities will include the verification of benefits and coverages of insurance plans specific to the patient with the ability to calculate an estimated responsibility. Contact will be made with patients to make payment arrangements for upcoming procedures. Verifier will also work closely with other members of the facility in order to source the most accurate information available for all cases to be worked.

This position is M-F 8:30 - 5:00 and all work is done at the facility.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 year experience in insurance
  • Knowledge in computer software programs
  • Maintain positive attitude
  • Skill in written and verbal communications
  • Excellence in customer relations
  • Ability to effectively work with medical staff, Management, authorizations, and external agencies
