Genesys is seeking aStrategicSourcing Manager-Corporate ServicestojointheStrategic Sourcingteamas an individual contributorthat willmanagestrategicprojectsin a complex, multi-businesssegmentenvironment.The individual will manage ourConsultingspend amongst other adjacent categories(i.e.,Professional Services) andwill be involved in all phases of the procurement processincluding, but not limitedto,business partnerships, spend analysis,RFx, negotiations, contract management, and supplierperformance management.While carrying out sourcing activities, theStrategicSourcing Manager-Corporate Serviceswill provide meaningful commercial leadership while developing and executing creative strategies to ensure work is conducted with rigorous professional standards in full compliance with organizational governance. This rolerequiresclosealignment with business leads and cross functional teams.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager- Corporate Serviceswill be expected to deliver savings by working in a cross-functional team environment and regularly interacts with senior leaders or executive levels by providing subject matterexpertisefor key categories while challenging spend behavior to ensure strategic sourcing process and decision making are firmly embedded in each function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead thestrategy for theConsulting category in close partnership and alignment withtheStrategic Sourcing Manager -Global Contingent Labor.

  • Conducta thorough analysis of theconsulting vendor landscapeand make recommendations ondeveloping out aGenesys Consulting PreferredVendor Program.

  • Clearly defineGenesysCorporate ServicesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)including writingand implementing a Supplier Manual, managingkey suppliers, including quarterly business reviews,performing root cause analysis and resolution, developingand monitoring supplier performance and improvement plans.

  • Develop and manage new and existing supplier relationships, with a focus on managingperformance and costand service continuous improvement. Identify, select, and qualify the "best" suppliers in the industry per categoryutilizingstrategic supply base analysis. Compile andmaintainsupplier and industry strategic analysis portfolios.

  • Successfully negotiateMasterServices Agreements(MSAs) that includeSLAs, standard markup rates, rate cards,rebates, andvolume and tenure rate discounts.

  • Createinternal and externaltraining/communicationfor bothconsulting vendorsand internal business partners.

  • Conduct market-rate analysis and benchmarking while negotiating consulting bill rates.

  • Works closely with C-level executives of the organization to understand and implement key business initiatives.Develops and delivers formalized presentations of projectobjectivesand results.

  • Involved in developing,modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect.

  • Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Deliver anddemonstratecomprehensive categoryexpertiseaccording to project priorities.

  • Responsible for securing materials and services at the lowest total cost of ownership through analysis of bids, and all other costs of ownership. Responsible for resolving any problems with materials, delivery,or the supplier relationship.

  • Implementstrategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Manage stakeholders, understand their needs, alignpurchasingand businessgoalsand plan communications.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to generate, sell and implement cost reduction ideas. Develop and implement annual cost savings programs and strategies that closelyaffectcompany financial results.

  • Work withina cross-cultural, multi/country team to nurture performance.

  • Produce risk analyses and mitigation tacticstoprojects, relationships, and contracts.

  • Deliver a range of reports relating to and including savings tracking, project status, savings forecasts and spend profiles to key stakeholders. Ensure metrics and action plan are in place for continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experiencewith aBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field; 6 years and aMaster'sdegree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience or equivalent.

  • 5+years oflaborprocurement/strategic sourcingexperience within the categories of:Consulting,Contract Laborand Professional Servicespreferablyworking for a Tech Company.

  • Knowledge of relevantGloballegal and compliance regulations.

  • Demonstrated contract negotiation skills and experience of project/program management.

  • Thorough interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independentlywhile shaping cross-functional partnerships.

  • Excellent presentation skills(including C-suite experience).

  • Ability to work well within a dynamic environment.

  • Problem solving ability, detail-oriented ability to manage multiple tasks. You will haveproactiveapproach to stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization.

  • Proven leadership and influencing skills withtrack recordfor achievingobjectives.

  • Responsive to other functions within the company that depend upon this key function for successful performance; able to resolve potentially conflictingobjectivesacross functions and with outside provider(s).

  • Insights and experience managing change, results-driven, passionate about operations and technical excellence.

  • Deep negotiating skills; able toidentifywin-win solutions in a complex situation; able to keep cool under pressure and be able to find solutions indifficult situations.

  • Well-rounded business acumen and well-developed presence.

  • Interfaces with function leaders at Director,Sr. Director,Vice-PresidentandSeniorExecutive levels within Genesys from allbusiness functions.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$83,600.00 - $164,000.00
