EnSafe is accepting applications for an Accountant based out of EnSafe's Memphis, TN office.

EnSafe specializes in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology with offices operating within the US.

What We Are Looking For

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of bank reconciliations, general ledger journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and accounts receivable collections. This position will be involved in financial statement preparation and various state tax and property tax reporting. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
  • Perform appropriate general ledger journal entries.
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Utilize SAGE fixed asset software to track and record all fixed asset purchases.
  • Responsible for financial statement preparation, and pre and post-month-end closing.
  • Provide information for state tax and property tax reporting.
  • Monthly preparation of financial reports for upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Task and leadership management.
  • Ability to maintain a background clearance.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Pervious public accounting experience.
  • Previous consulting or professional services environment.
