Mountain Youth Academy teachers provides instruction to our patients with learning disabilities and or behavioral mental health concerns. They ensure that the most recent teaching aids and materials are utilized to enrich the classroom. Our educational program is an essential member of the multidisciplinary team.

Mountain Youth Academy is a comprehensive and highly structured 120-bed CARF accredited residential treatment center located Mountain City, Tennessee. We provide psychiatric and trauma focused treatment services for males and females, ages 5-17, who have significant history of emotional or behavioral issues. The clinical programs at Mountain Youth Academy have been designed to address the needs of children and adolescents.

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients..


Qualifications

Applicants must have a BA and be eligible to seek a Teaching License in the State of Tennessee by way of a Permit as approved by the State or current teaching certification.
