In this role, the Director of Accounting will be responsible for managing the general ledger, month-end close, leading complex divisional reporting, and technical accounting. What do you need for this Director of Accounting role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
- 10+ years of accounting management and leadership experience
- Experience working with a large ERP
- Advanced Excel
- Public accounting experience
- Active CPA a huge plus
- Experience working in manufacturing and knowledgeable of cost and inventory
- Oversee financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, and the annual audit
- Manageaccounting team performance
- Perform variance and statistical analysis
- Analyze business drivers to make recommendations for performance improvement
- Identify risks through account reconciliation review and protect company assets
- Review processes and procedures for potential improvement and introduction of new polices and accounting guidance
- Partner with business leaders to identify processes that can transform internal business procedures
- Create data analytics to measure KPIs
