A professional services company in the Valley is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Controller in this newly created position, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for month-end accounting, debits, credits, and analytics. To be successful in this role, the Staff Accountant should be strong in US GAAP, GL accounting, analytical, and eager to learn.

What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2-4 years of accounting experience
- MUST have great Excel
- Ideally comes from a company with a revenue size of $80M or more
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain the general ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis
- Assist with AP and AR
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Assist with compliance and tax returns
