Job Description

Title: Communications Specialist-Marketing and Communcations

Location: Maury Regional Health

Position Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Position Summary:

Maury Regional Health is seeking a creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment to fill the position of Communications Specialist in the Marketing & Communications Department. Responsibilities will include:

* Researching and creating compelling consumer content across multiple media channels, including news releases, website, blog, social media, radio and email marketing.

* Strategizing and coordinating content calendars across all communication channels in alignment with strategic initiatives.

* Serving as the MarCom lead for marketing strategies related to Maury Regional Medical Group (MRMG) campaigns.

    * Creating and updating content for publications, including the monthly employee newsletter, service line brochures and direct mail pieces.


    Credentials / Education:

    Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, communications or public relations.

    Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years working in a marketing or writing field with demonstrative abilities in news, feature and technical writing. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
