Primary Function

Designs, implements and monitors a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with site leadership to foster a culture of mutual trust and respect, maintaining the sites positive culture.
  • Provide support in one or more functional HR areas to include but not limited to; recruitment, student programs, training, educational assistance, diversity, immigration, relocation.
  • Perform Employee Relations, counseling/coaching, corrective action, retirement counseling at all levels.
  • Assist with Employee Education and Training.
  • Provide employee support with Benefits/Payroll Administration (including various types of leaves of absence)
  • Work closely with area managers to provide continuous Improvement/Process Improvement efforts, providing consultation and recommendations to the areas of talent management, employee relations, change management, performance management, safety, and wellness.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for employee questions, concerns, suggestions, and needs.
  • Proactively addresses any potential issues, involving the appropriate stakeholders and driving issues to closure.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive related work experience
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
  • Strongcommunication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to deal comfortably with all levels of management
  • Ability to build strong relationships and achieve results while working with others
  • Must be able to operate with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop and execute plans andevaluate the results
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to flex as changes or issues arise.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • PHR and /or SPHR certification preferred
  • Proficiency with HR Systems (EmployeeCentral, SuccessFactors, SAP, Kronos/UKG preferred).
