Take charge of our day-to-day operations, so we remain the trusted source for aviation repair and maintenance. Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.

As a Machinist, you?ll perform setup, programming and operation on a variety of machining equipment.

What you?ll do:

  • Machine products to tight tolerances
  • Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
  • Compute and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy
  • Observing all applicable safety practices


Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Successful completion of TOWES (Test of Workplace Essential Skills) which will be facilitated and paid for by StandardAero (Red Seal Journeypersons excluded)


Machinist (Apprentice)

  • Enrolled or willing to enroll in a machinist apprenticeship
  • Minimal experience required


Machinist II

  • Completed Level II and/or III of a machinist apprenticeship program
  • Minimum of 2 years manual machining experience


Machinist IV

  • Red Seal Machinist
  • Minimum of 6 years manual machining experience
