Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as a Relief Operator on our processed sliced cheese line.

Job Duties

  • Must be able to learn and perform safely all machine operator and general labor positions associated with the slice line. All SOP's must be signed off 4 months after training begins.
  • Will provide relief for break periods.
  • Will fill in for any and all types of absences or leaves.
  • Must be capable of filling in for lead people.
  • Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
  • Will perform sanitation duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.

Other requirements

  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
  • Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines.

Physical capabilities

  • Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 45 pounds
  • Must be able to lift and carry frequently 40 pounds.
