Your Job

Reporting to the Materials, Planning and Logistics Manager, this position provides the daily paint schedule for the paint manufacturing system to insure on time deliveries to customers.

What You Will Do

  • Meet with the Materials Scheduling Clerk to review scheduled production runs
  • Communicate with production department managers throughout shift to ensure adequate inventories meet shipping schedules
  • Adjust schedules as needed in the Automated Storage/Retrieval System (ASRS) computer
  • Monitor ASRS throughout shift to ensure proper racks are available for paint schedules
  • Check Kanban cards against inventory levels and paint schedules
  • Conduct daily cycle counts
  • Provide Material Handler support as needed



Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Strong math skills
  • Forklift experience (ability to pass written and driving test)
  • Proficient in developing interpersonal relationships
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual who is comfortable working as part of a team
