Role Overview:
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions on our native AWS infrastructure. Your expertise in serverless, distributed, and event-driven architectures will be integral to driving the evolution of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- AWS Mastery:Lead the deployment and optimization of Native AWS services using serverless, distributed, event-driven, and scalable techniques to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Programming Expertise:Utilize heavy experience in Python, C#, and/or Node.js/Typescript, preferably Python, to develop efficient and maintainable codebase for our platform's backend services.
- DevOps Mindset:Foster a DevOps-centric culture by building and maintaining services that are observable, scalable, and of the highest quality, while emphasizing automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborative Leadership:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and expertise in architectural decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Extensive AWS Experience:Demonstrable track record of architecting, deploying, and optimizing complex solutions on AWS.
- Programming Proficiency:Mastery in Python, C#, and/or Node.js/Typescript, with a preference for Python, and a strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
- DevOps Culture Advocate:Proven experience in building and maintaining highly observable, scalable, and reliable services with a DevOps mindset.
