Job Description
What this job involves:

As the Sr. Director of Sourcing at JLL, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize the procurement process. You will play a crucial role in identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving supplier performance improvement initiatives. Your expertise and leadership will enable JLL to achieve maximum value from supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with JLL's objectives and goals
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing requirements and creating sourcing plans accordingly
Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings
Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
Overseeing the evaluation and selection process of suppliers, including conducting supplier assessments and managing supplier performance
Optimizing sourcing processes, driving cost efficiencies, and managing supplier risk
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop long-term sourcing strategies
Monitoring and analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities to enhance sourcing practices
Leading and mentoring a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and support in achieving departmental goals

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a focus on vendor management and contract negotiation
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies in a large-scale organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and market insights to drive decision-making
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Solid understanding of procurement best practices and industry trends
Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., e-sourcing platforms, contract management software)
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related field
