About the Role

Are you a worship music enthusiast with a passion for growing the digital presence of faith-based music in the Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Hip-Hop Urban, and Worship genres?

As Associate Director, Digital Marketing, you will play a key role in leading the strategy and implementation of digital marketing campaigns to help our artists deliver music to their fans. Your role will ensure discovery and consumption of Provident Entertainment artists' music and content through digital marketing platforms. This position requires interaction with members of senior management and other high-level internal and external contacts - including artist and manager teams. This position is based in our Franklin, TN office.

What you'll do:
  • Develop, create, manage and execute digital marketing campaigns and strategies to connect to artist branding strategy
  • Identify and evaluate innovation, new technology, consumer trends, and new models of engagement, to increase music streaming
  • Track, analyze and utilize campaign, social data, and consumer behavior online, to help optimize digital marketing efforts
  • Serve as label expert on search engine optimization (SEO) best practices across all search engines, and to optimize SEO for label artists and web properties
  • Monitor and evaluate strategy on a consistent basis to ensure plans and objectives are met
  • Partner with various internal teams to leverage online communities, run sweeps, build CRM lists, and study analytics to ensure informed marketing decisions are being made
  • Push content to top tier music, genre specific, lifestyle, and social media sites to reach more consumers
  • Articulate digital marketing strategy and recommendations in meetings and proposals
  • Partner with the Digital team on the strategy and maintenance of Provident Entertainment's branded websites, email campaigns, and social media (Provident Entertainment / RCA Inspiration / Provident Label Group)
Who you are:
  • A digital marketing aficionado with at least 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the entertainment space (experience in a large, complex organization preferred)
  • A self-starter with previous social media experience with brand and a demonstrated understanding of digital music space trends
  • A creative team member with a strong understanding and passion for digital innovation and an ability to suggest and implement new systems for increased efficiency and accuracy
  • demonstrated experience and understanding of the current marketing landscape and digital platforms
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management and large groups
  • A thoughtful, organized and results-oriented professional
  • A focused team player with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize tasks
  • A deadline focused worker with the ability to balance multiple priority tasks simultaneously and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
