General Information:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join its team. This position will be responsible for helping to fulfill customer orders. This position will be responsible for a majority of the receiving dock processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare documents needed for shipping e.g. packing slips, BOLs, commercial invoices, etc.
• Coordinate with delivery services to book and track shipments as needed.
• Verify and store incoming material in proper locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Responsible for ensuring shipped materials are packaged correctly and easily identifiable for both internal and external customers.
• Follow all safety and work procedures to pull, inspect, package and label customer orders from various storage locations to meet shipment schedule and customer demand.
• Continuously train on new equipment and processes within the shipping department and based upon additional responsibilities.
• Must be able to read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions, drawings and shipment documentation.

Your Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or closely related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly desired.
