The Knoxville Area Urban League, a civil rights, economic development and social service organization, was founded in l968 at the height of the Civil Rights movement to promote equal employment opportunities for African-Americans in Knoxville, Tennessee. Today, the Knoxville Area Urban League (KAUL) is a non-profit, non-partisan, interracial community-based organization, serving a diverse client base in Knox, Blount and Anderson counties. Our mission is to enable African Americans, other minority groups and the disadvantaged to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

The Memphis Leadership Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-denominational Christian ministry that exists to empower urban individuals and families through creative, innovative, and effective ministry and leadership.

The Urban League of Central Carolinas is a multi-service, non-profit Agency, organized in 1978. Its mission is to promote financial stability among African-American families and others, and racial inclusion in our community. Our range of programs can benefit anyone in need of education, skills training, career development, employment services, and youth programs. We serve persons from all economic levels - from area professionals to those living within designated “fragile” and “at risk” neighborhoods. We have something for most everyone.

The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is an affiliate of the National Urban League, the nation's oldest and largest community-based movement devoted to empowering African Americans and other underserved individuals to enter the economic and social mainstream. The mission of the Urban League is to enable African-Americans and other disadvantaged persons to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

The Memphis Urban League is an interracial, non-profit community service organization whose main purpose is to secure resources, devise strategies, plan and implement programs that will lead to the continuing reduction and removal of social and economic barriers. The mission of the Memphis Urban League is to assist African-Americans and other ethnic groups to expand economic opportunities, and secure parity, power and civil rights.
