Cashier
Cashiers provide outstanding and quick checkout service to customers at our registers. Cashiers have thorough knowledge of all policies, procedures and duties related to customer transactions. Cashiers greet all Customers and maintain a safe and organized area to ensure the highest quality customer service experience.

Sales
Sales Associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Sales associates have an emphasis on department and product knowledge, providing information on product features, and knowing related items to sell an entire project. Associates in this position know how to greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments. Sales associates maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure that it is clean, shoppable, and safe. These associates work in cooperation with their Department Supervisor, Sales Specialist(s), other associates in their department as well as other sales departments, the Inventory Management Associates, and the Front-end Associates to ensure customers' needs are met. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales, building sales skills and product knowledge and maintaining safety, security and integrity.
A Sales Specialist in the Plumbing department should have substantial product knowledge that includes, but is not limited to the following areas: Water filtration and softener types and uses, ability to explain and demonstrate sink and faucet installation, ability to explain various plumbing repair and replacement, ability to explain and demonstrate pipe installation and valve types and uses. A Sales Specialist in the Plumbing department will also use various equipment and machinery to cut and thread pipe.
A Sales Specialist in the Electrical department should have substantial product knowledge that includes, but is not limited to the following areas: Outdoor/security lighting, ability to explain various air conditioners and dehumidifiers, ability to explain and identify different types of light bulbs, different types of light fixtures including ceiling fans, circuit breaker types and uses and transfer switcher types. A Sales Specialist in the Electrical department will also use various equipment and machinery to cut wire.
A Sales Specialist in the Flooring department should have substantial product knowledge that includes, but is not limited to the following areas: Ability to explain uses of a variety of floor adhesives, knowledge of a variety of carpeting including in stock and special order, ability to explain and demonstrate ceramic tile installation including ceramic style countertops, ability to explain a variety of hard floor products and installation including hard wood/laminate/vinyl flooring and knowledge of closet products and installation. A Sales Specialist in the Flooring department will also use various equipment and machinery to cut wire shelving and carpeting.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years Retail, Specialty Retail, Outside Sales or Trade experience
Appropriate certification depending on department:
- Certified Kitchen Designer; Certified Bath Designer
- National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certified
- American Society for Interior Designers Certified
- Licensed Plumber
- Licensed Electrician
- HVAC License
- State Certified Nuseryman/Horticulture Certification
- Licensed Contractor
Lot Associate
Lot associates assist customers with the loading of their vehicles in addition to monitoring and maintaining the entrance of the store. Lot associates are also responsible for maintaining a sufficient quantity of carts near the entrance of the store.

Freight Team Associates (Nights/A.M.)
Freight Team Associates typically work overnight stocking merchandise on to shelves to remain in stock, organizing the sales floor to create a pleasant and safe shopping environment, and providing customer service as required by customer demand.
